SocarTraining (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our virtual reality training application, SocarTraining, available on the Meta Horizon Store.

This policy is managed directly by the SocarTraining development team. By using SocarTraining, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

SocarTraining does not collect, store, or process any personal data on its own servers. The app operates entirely as a client-side experience. The only data involved is handled by Meta’s platform services:

2.1 Meta Account ID

• Your Meta account ID is used solely for authentication via the Meta platform login system.
• SocarTraining does not store, log, or retain your Meta account ID on any of our servers.
• Authentication is handled entirely by Meta’s platform.

2.2 Meta Avatar

• Your Meta Avatar is displayed within the app using Meta’s Avatar SDK.
• SocarTraining does not store, download, or process your avatar data on our servers.
• Avatar data is fetched and rendered directly through Meta’s services.

2.3 Data We Do NOT Collect

We explicitly do not collect, store, or process any of the following:

• VR device data (headset model, firmware, serial number)
• Hand tracking, body tracking, or controller input data
• Spatial or environmental data (Guardian boundaries, room dimensions)
• Audio or voice data
• Usage analytics, session duration, or training progress
• Crash logs or diagnostic data
• IP addresses or location data
• Cookies or tracking identifiers

3. How We Use Your Information

Since SocarTraining does not collect or store any personal data, there is no data usage by us. The only data interactions are:

• Authentication: Your Meta account ID is used by Meta’s platform to verify your identity and grant access to the app. SocarTraining does not process this data.
• Avatar Display: Your Meta Avatar is rendered within the app via Meta’s Avatar SDK for visual representation. SocarTraining does not process or store this data.

We do not use your data for analytics, advertising, personalization, or any other purpose. We do not sell or share any data with third parties.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not share any personal data with third parties because we do not collect any personal data.

Meta Platforms Technologies processes your Meta account ID and Avatar data according to their own privacy policies and terms of service. For details on how Meta handles your data, please refer to Meta’s Privacy Policy.

5. Data Storage & Security

SocarTraining does not operate any backend servers for data storage. No personal data is stored, transmitted, or processed by our infrastructure. All app functionality is handled locally on your VR device or through Meta’s platform services.

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion

Since SocarTraining does not collect, store, or retain any personal data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to delete.

1. Send an email to privacy@socartraining.com with the subject line: “Data Deletion Request — SocarTraining”
2. We will respond within 30 days to confirm that SocarTraining does not store any of your personal data

If you wish to delete your Meta account data or Meta Avatar, please refer to Meta’s account deletion instructions as we do not have access to or control over Meta platform data.

Additional Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since SocarTraining does not store any personal data, these rights do not apply to data held by us. For data held by Meta, please contact Meta directly.

7. Children’s Privacy

SocarTraining is a training application. If you are under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region), you must have parental consent to use this app. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of SocarTraining after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
